Best Clinics Rewarded at Inaugural IMC Excellence Awards

International Medical Centre last weekend held its first ever excellence awards, which are meant to recognize the best performing staff in bringing quality service to the customers.

IMC, a network of walk in clinics in different parts of the country is part of the International Medical Group (IMG).

Speaking at the awards in Kampala, Joel Oroni, the IMC General Manager, said the IMC Excellence Awards was an opportunity for Management to motivate and inspire the staff to come-up with innovative ideas that bring together quality services to the customers, and reward individuals and teams for their extra-ordinary work throughout the organization.
‘’As the main highlight for 2019, the IMC Excellence Awards is a platform for us to provide an opportunity for each of our staff to create, innovate, and compete with one another to be part of the team that is making the decisions and strategizing to make IMG a better place to access quality primary healthcare that meets international standards’’ said Mr. Oroni.
Different IMC Clinics won various awards categories such as IMC Gulu who won the Operational Excellence Award, Park Royal, who took the People’s Choice Award, Wandegeya clinic who took the Service Excellence Award, Entebbe Road was awarded the best facility, and Kololo who took the Team of the Year Award.
During event hosted by Val Oketcho and Crystal Newman, IMC health workers dressed up and looked dazzling in African fashion.
There were also great performances from the Jehovah Shalom Accapella, Myko Ouma, as well as talent shows from IMC worker.
