CECAFA Challenge Cup: Watambala, Kato in as McKinstry Names Preliminary Cranes Squad
Vipers SC youngster Abdul Karim Watambala and KCCA’s Samuel Kato are some of the names as Uganda Cranes Head Coach Johnathan McKinstry named a 30-man preliminary squad for the forthcoming 2019 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup.
The tournament will be hosted by the record winners Uganda from 7th to 19th December.
The squad is composed of only home based players who will tussle it out for the final squad.
The training will start on Wednesday, November 27th 2019 but KCCA FC, Proline FC and SC Villa players in the Squad will report after the completion of their clubs’ first round StarTimes Uganda Premier League matches on 3rd December 2019.
