City Oilers in Tanzania for Zone 5 Africa League qualifiers.
City Oilers Basketball Club has arrived in Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania ahead of Group D Africa League Qualifiers that is scheduled for 15th to 20th October
City Oilers are representing male Uganda’s Basketball Club while the female team will be represented by the JKL Lady Dolphins.
The respective clubs were the winners of the 2018 Men and Women National Basket league and they are representing Uganda at the Africa League qualifiers.
The sixth times Champion arrived in Tanzania on Tuesday morning and went straight to the Uganda High Commission to Dar-es-Salaam.
They were received in Tanzania by the Uganda’s High Commissioner to Tanzania, Richard Kabonero
The other teams that will be playing in the tournament include, Patriot BBC from Rwanda, Hawassa from Ethiopia, Brave Hearts from Malawi and Dynamo BC from Burundi
The games will be played at the National Indoor stadium in Dar-es-salaam Tanzania.
The Finals of Basketball Africa league will be hosted in Kigali, Rwanda in May 2020.
